Rigorous tests and in-depth analyzes have been carried out by independent laboratories on the different filtration elements of the Berkey® systems, with particular attention paid to the famous Black Berkey® filter. The verdict is clear: these filters offer some of the best performance on the market, effectively removing a wide range of contaminants. Whether for heavy metals, chemicals, pesticides or even bacteria and viruses, the results speak for themselves. Berkey® filtration systems have been tested by independent laboratories, and the results are clear:

Giardia: over 99.99% reduction
Cryptosporidiosis: reduction of more than 99.996%
Radioactive contaminants (plutonium, uranium, polonium, etc.): reduction of more than 99%
