Imperial GF Filter – High performance gravity filtration technology, more economical than FTO+

The Imperial GF filter is an advanced ceramic filter element designed for gravity water filtration systems. Made in the United States, it combines a microporous ceramic shell impregnated with colloidal silver with high-performance granular activated carbon combined with zeolite — for pure water every day, with optimized flow.

This design allows for rapid filtration while ensuring excellent reduction of chemical contaminants, heavy metals and modern pollutants.

Independently tested by Envirotek Laboratories, Inc. according to NSF/ANSI protocols 42 & 53.

Why choose the GF version?

The GF version uses a granulated activated carbon core offering:

  • Faster throughput than the Imperial AMB and Coldstream FTO+ version
  • Excellent filtration fluidity
  • A greater increase in flow on gravity systems
  • High-performance filtration for municipal tap water

The Imperial 2.75" GF format also offers:

  • Longer, more economical lifespan: 12 months compared to 6 months for the Coldstream FTO+
  • Better flow

Dual action filtration technology

1. High performance ceramic shell, impregnated with collaidal silver

  • High precision mechanical filtration
  • Mineral microporous structure
  • Cleanable to extend life
  • Physical barrier against fine particles
  • 40% greater ceramic thickness compared to FTO+

2. Granulated activated carbon and zeolite core

  • Advanced reduction of chemical contaminants
  • Improved taste and odor
  • Excellent filtration rate
  • Reduction of modern pollutants

Filtration performance – NSF/ANSI 42 & 53 compliant

  • >99% reduction in chloramines
  • >99% chlorine reduction
  • >99% lead reduction
  • 98% reduction of heavy metals
  • 98% reduction in THMs (trihalomethanes)
  • 98% reduction in VOCs (VOC)
  • 98% reduction of glyphosate
  • 98% reduction in pesticides and herbicides
  • 99% reduction of pharmaceutical compounds (NSF/ANSI 401)
  • 99% reduction of PFOA & PFOS
  • 99% reduction of microplastics
  • 95% reduction of PFAS
  • 94% reduction of radionuclides
  • 92% nitrate reduction
  • 92% reduction in fluorides (fluorosilicic acid, sodium fluorosilicate, sodium fluoride)
