About NSF Standards

  • NSF/ANSI 42 : standard relating to the reduction of substances affecting the aesthetics of water, such as chlorine, taste, odor and certain particles.
  • NSF/ANSI 53 : standard relating to the reduction of certain contaminants which may present a risk to health, according to the certified claims.
  • NSF/ANSI 372 : standard relating to lead-free compliance of components in contact with drinking water.

NSF certifications are issued by NSF International, an independent American organization specializing in health safety standards, particularly for equipment in contact with drinking water.
