✨ Accessories that simplify installation

• MEDBASE stainless steel base: it raises the fountain to facilitate the passage of a glass or a cup under the tap.
• SPIGOT-SS stainless steel faucet: it equips the outlet of water in this pack with its fixing and its seals.
• FPK-KIT: it facilitates the preparation of the filters and the control of the assembly. The PF-2™ adapter contained in the kit is not a PF-2™ filter.

🔎 Documented filtration

The Black Berkey® uses a proprietary blend of filter media. The manufacturer publishes independent tests including certain heavy metals, pesticides, volatile organic compounds and perfluorinated compounds. The results are read substance by substance and according to the conditions tested.

The NSF/ANSI protocols cited in the reports describe the tests carried out. They should not be confused with an NSF certification of the system. The Black Berkey® documents are accessible at the bottom of this sheet.

🛠️ Your fountain in 4 steps

• Prepare: wash your hands, then clean the tanks and the faucet.
• Prime and assemble: saturate the Black Berkey® with cold drinking water, install their seals on the inside of the upper chamber and tighten them nuts by hand without forcing.
• Fill: pour the water into the upper chamber, taking into account the space still available at the bottom. An already full lower chamber may overflow if you continue to feed the system.
• Serve: let the water pass through the filters then use the lower chamber faucet. Follow the initial rinse indicated in the instructions before consuming the water.
