01 · YOUR CONFIGURATION
Build your fountain
This Monderma Big version combines the stainless steel tanks and the stainless steel tap with level indicator. It is suitable for composing your installation with the cartridges of your choice, or replacing the tanks of compatible equipment.
Add the filter elements separately before any use in filtration. The tanks store and distribute water; water treatment depends on the cartridges installed.
02 · THE RIGHT FAUCET
Daily service
The transparent tube and its float allow you to see the water level in the lower tank at a glance. The body of the faucet is made of stainless steel; the reading tube is made of protected glass.
This mark helps to organize the fillings. It indicates the quantity of water available: it does not measure the quality of filtration and does not order filling to stop.
Three families of filters to choose separately
The options below are intended for Monderma gravity fountains. Choose a pair suited to your use and consult its data sheet for performance, commissioning and renewal. None of these cartridges are included in this tank offer.
Monderma Black Filters
Elements based on activated carbon from coconut shells. This is the Black Filters range from Monderma.
Impérial GF
A ceramic envelope combined with granular activated carbon and zeolite.
Impérial AMB
A ceramic envelope combined with a block of compressed activated carbon and zeolite.
03 · TO MEASURE AT HOME
A location to prepare
Allow approximately 48.5 cm of height and 21 cm diameter for the fountain in place, then additional space above to lift the lid and fill the tank.
Install it on a stable, flat surface, with clear access to the tap. The choice of format also depends on your filling frequency and the space available in the kitchen.
04 · TO CHOOSE WELL
Performance follows the filters
Storage capacity in liters does not describe the flow rate or the lifespan of the cartridges. The type of filter, water level and maintenance influence the operation of the equipped fountain.
Test results and any certifications can be read for precise reference and configuration. They are not allocated to this offer of tanks alone.
What this offer includes
- An upper tank and a lower tank in AISI 304 stainless steel.
- A cover with its button.
- A stainless steel tap with level indicator, with the corresponding fixing and sealing parts.
- No filter element: the cartridges are sold separately.
Assembly and first fillings
- Clean the tanks and the tap before assembly, then rinse them carefully.
- Assemble the tap with its seals and washers in the order indicated in the instructions. Check its tightness.
- Install the chosen filters with their gasket inside the upper tank and tighten the fixings by hand, without forcing. Close any unused orifices with the appropriate parts.
- Follow the commissioning procedure specific to the cartridges: the priming methods and the first volumes to be thrown away may differ depending on the range.
- Use cold potable water from the network and adjust each filling to the space available in the lower tank.
Maintenance and storage
Clean the tanks and the tap regularly with a sponge or soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild product, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid metallic abrasives and chlorinated products on stainless steel. Maintain the cartridges separately, following their own instructions.
To store the tanks one inside the other, empty and dry everything. Remove the filters and the valve if necessary to allow fitting without constraint, then protect the disassembled parts.
The level valve tube can be dismantled for maintenance: carefully keep the float and the seals, then check the tightness after reassembly.
Commercial guarantee and support
The Monderma instructions provide a commercial guarantee of 2 years on the tanks and the lid and 6 months on tap included, from receipt and subject to its conditions. Consult the instructions for details of the coverage and keep your proof of purchase.
